DOE Diesel Off 6.0 Cents to $6.292, Crude Benchmarks Diverge
The DOE number fell 6.0 cents to $6.292/gal for the week of November 2, trimming about $4.62 from a 500-mile haul at the stated 6.5 mpg reference. Brent crude rose 7% on the week while WTI fell 4%.
